Hours later, you kick down a door to a bomb shelter.
Eyes open; hat uneven on his head.
A slit throat and a deep cut down his chest, beginning steps for Daggett's hobby.
Your legs turn to jell-o; your hands to ice.
Suddenly, two months is too long.
Far too long.
