We, the Sparky Army, decree 2008 to be the Year of the Spark. We pledge to post a new sparky story or chapter of a sparky story every day from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Though the Powers that Be have removed Elizabeth Weir from the regular cast of Stargate Atlantis, we feel that she remains an integral part of the show, and that the relationship between her and John Sheppard is too obvious to be ignored. We hope that you, and anyone might happen to read these works, agree.
And if that isn't official enough for you, we don't know what is. Seriously, guys, we're just trying to have some --and show TPTB that Sparky is the way to go. So sit back and enjoy the 366 stories coming your way!
A/N: This is set after The Eye. Just a little double drabble that came to mind. Hope you like!
Elizabeth's attention was focused on the computer screen in front of her, for which John was grateful. It meant that she did not notice him staring at her through glass walls of her office. Lately he had been thinking a lot about her – her brown, slightly curly hair that framed her beautiful face, her bright smile, and her stunning green eyes. And more importantly, the look - the truly frightened look - that had been in those eyes when Kolya had held her hostage. He never wanted to see that look in her eyes again; he never wanted to see her in any kind of danger ever again.
He'd been obsessed with her safety ever since that storm a couple of weeks ago. He couldn't go more than a couple of hours without knowing where she was and that was the reason for his staring now. He needed to see with his own eyes that she was safe. That she wasn't going to be taken away from him. He wondered how long this overprotective streak would last in him and after a moment of contemplation, decided that it would probably never go away.
He sighed and turned around, knowing he'd just be back again after another three hours.
