Pandora's Box

A/N- A fledgeling idea of mine. It didn't develop more than this... But I'd love to see someone continue with this idea.

He held the shimmering gem up to the moonlight, inspecting it for that one telltale glint of light.

As the moonlight hit it, it began to glow blood red, the light turning liquid and staining his white gloves. He stared in to it... speechless.

Suddenly, all his mind was all but forgotten, and he brought the gem to his mouth, letting a long lick cover the surface. His violet eyes had turned the same glowing red as the stone. The stone possessed him, it was all and nothing. All at once.

The red had begun to seep into the sleeves and shoulders of his white blazer, as he held the stone, never able to look away. The white material seeped it in, until it was all red, and the Kid let out a chuckle before tensing. His eyes widened and the red glow left his eyes, and there was nothing but pain. And shame.

For we all know what happens when we open Pandora's Box...
