Oblivious to everything but his brother's lifeless body, Sam failed to notice the tremors that had begun to plague his surroundings. Squeezing his eyes against the tears, he buried his face into Dean's bloodied shirt just as the door
splintered and the windows shattered along with anything else containing glass. And yet, even as the walls around him began to crumble, Sam remained unfazed. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered. His brother was dead. His Dean
was dead. And everything else could fall.
