Wake up KP!
By Captainkodak1

Ron opened his eyes opened his eyes a bit. Kim's head was nestled into his shoulder. Her auburn mane of hair lay softly against his cheek. They had gone to a drive-in movie and parked on the back row. He opened his eyes and looked around. He caught his breath. The lot was empty and dark. He looked at his watch. The glowing dial showed 4:00. He shook his head then shook Kim on her shoulder. He turned and crawled into the driver's seat as he started the car. The radio came on with a 50's style song on. He turned back to his groggy eyed girlfriend.

"Hey! KP."

Wake up, little KP, wake up
Wake up, little KP, wake up
We've both been sound asleep
Wake up, little KP, and let's speed
The movie's over, it's four o'clock
And we're in both trouble deep
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP.

Kim climbed into the passenger seat as Ron pulled out of the lot. She slid down into her seat and buckled in. That was when she saw the clock on the dashboard. She turned to Ron and opened her mouth to speak.

Well...Whatta we gonna tell your mom
Whatta we gonna tell your dad
Whatta we gonna tell Monique
When she says "ooh-la-la"
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP.

Ron started to sweat as he pulled the sloth out on the main road back to the Possible's. He turned to Kim.

Well...I told your Dad that you'd be in by ten
Well, KP, looks like we goof'd again
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP, we gotta go home

Wake up, little KP, wake up
Wake up, little KP, wake up
The movie wasn't so hot
It didn't have much of a plot
We fell asleep, your goose is cooked
and I'm heading for a outer space.
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP

Well...Whatta we gonna tell your mom
Whatta we gonna tell your dad
Whatta we gonna tell Bonnie
When she says "ooh-la-la"
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP
Wake up little KP

Ron turned the sloth into the Possible's driveway. The front porch light was on. That was when Ron noticed his parent's car parked in the drive. He swallowed and looked over at Kim. He could see her eyes were as big as saucers. She reached over and gave his hand a squeeze. Both of them got out of the car and walked to the front door. Just as they got to the door it opened on it's own. The light from inside spilled out into the night. The two teens looked into the light and saw four pairs of eyes glaring back out into the night at them.

Two sets of teen lips stated the same fact that was in their hearts.

"I am soooooo...dead."

Greeting from the Captain. I thought I would post this little story. My family and I have been at the beach for this entire week. It has been beyond great. We did have a nice size storm on Sunday as in a full fledged gale. But after that it has been really nice. It's back to work next week, so I'll be up and around. Or at least the best that I can. I have sunburned feet and wearing shoes and socks is a new experience in pain.
