Maybe, just maybe it was time to move on.
Mist on my Window
Maybe, just maybe, it's time to move on.
The chilly rain poured down horridly on the dry ground, leaving the oblivious people in the trail of confusion and rapid realization. Hundreds of feet scurried towards the nearest waiting shed, namely the school gate. Open wide, it caters a lot of people with its extensive roof and electric fans for comfortable ventilation.
"I've always loved the rain." An amused smile graced the girl with wild crimson hair. The breeze sent droplets for water to her lovely face, her eyes twinkling in bemusement.
"I do too, but this time isn't really the best time to hog it out." The teenager clad in white polo spoke, looking down at his companion.
The girl snickered and jabbed the man playfully at his arm. "Touché."
Giggles and chuckles endowed the scene, the soft atmosphere watched by the intruder behind the shadows.
Yes, a charming thing to watch indeed.
The spectator sighed benevolently at the couple. Yes, a couple. She wondered in her musings, how he, the man she loved, had turned to a lower case woman in the society state against her. Yet when she sees the contentment glimmer in his deep russet eyes, she wishes for nothing more but his happiness.
And days like this, when she sees the two behind her car window, she draws a heart with her slender finger on the misty glass, positioned directly between the two lovers. A placid smile polished her tightly ajar lips. Tears well in her eyes warily.
Yet as she gazes on fondly at the dark sky clearing up, paving way to the graceful moon and wonderful stars painted on the velvet blue nightsky, she thinks that, maybe, just maybe, it's time to move on.
