Title: Recovery
Rating: G
Characters/Pairings: The Doctor (implied 10/Rose)
Genre: Angst
Word Count: 100
Summary: Set sometime after "Doomsday".
Disclaimer: The BBC own all. No, really, they do...I'm starting to think they own the entire planet but they definitely own Doctor Who and all the characters implied in this story and, no, I'm not making any money from this.
A/N: Just a quick drabble because I missed writing the Doctor. And I'm bored. Comments & concrit are welcome!

He has learnt not to say anything; he no longer says her name, he no longer talks about their time together, he no longer thinks of her every time he steps onto a new planet.

They assume he has forgotten about her; but what their dense human minds are unable to comprehend is that he never forgets any of them. Not ever. And especially not her.

He still sees her everywhere, still thinks of her and still silently seethes at the mention of the people and aliens that took her away from him.

Yet he moves on through the galaxy with new distractions and new destinations and tries to forget. Because what else can he do?
