I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD!
Haha, okay, so I never passed away, obviously. I just had a million and fifty writer's blocks (and still have some, I just had to get this pesky storyline out of the way), and for that I totally apologize!
I am the worst updater out of everyone on this site, I'm sure of it.
Anyways, I am back with a new, completely un-planned story! And I hope you guys like it c:
Spend Some Time, Love
Since the beginning of time (well, my time, at least), my best friend has been Troy Bolton.
In our senior year, that changed. He became too overwhelmed with college applications and trying to keep Gabriella happy that he might as well of had a lobotomy, for as well as he remembered who I was.
My best friend became someone entirely unexpected. Someone who I never, ever, would have dreamed of hanging out with.
He's crazy and loud and ebullient. When he gets excited about something, he acts like a fucking Labrador puppy. He's not the type of guy that someone like Chad Danforth would ever want to be caught in the food court with, even if we were seven tables and two rows apart.
Despite all of that, Ryan Evans is possibly the best friend I've ever had.
I'm a singer. I'm an actor. I'm a homosexual. I'm a twin.
I'm not a best friend.
Nobody calls me first to tell me good news. Nobody picks me before other people to hang out. I've never heard: "This is my best friend, Ryan," or anything of the sorts.
Not even Sharpay, my own sister, calls me her best friend.
I don't like whining about the fact though that I've always been in her shadow. Ashlee Simpson has done enough of the whole "living-in-the-shadow-of-someone-else's-dream" act for all of us (however, of course, she beats Jessica by, like, a mile).
When I got stuck with Chad Danforth for our History of Film class project, I never expected that over that first semester of our senior year he would give me something that I had never, in my life, had before.
A best friend.
Okay…and a few other things, but we'll get to those later, now won't we?
Okay, so I had actually planned on doing a one-shot, but, well, things are changing. Haha.
This is going to be a five chapter story (ficlet, right?), one chapter per months of the first semester of school (September, October, November, December, and prologue makes five).
So, I hope you guys like it! :)
