Bakura and Malik sat at the kitchen table playing a cutthroat game of poker with various soul containing articles in front of them.

"I'll see your girl scout and raise you a milkman." Malik said tossing a nametag onto the table, where it joined the beret already resting there. He took a quick gulp of soda.

"You fool!" Bakura cackled. "Prepare for another miserable defeat."

"What are you talking about, another?" Malik asked staring at the spirit incredulously. "I won the last four games!"

"Those were practice." Bakura promptly replied, taking a sudden intense interest in his energy drink.

"Uh, huh." Malik raised one eyebrow at the wild haired yami.

Just then the door opened and Ryou walked in. With a dejected sigh, he heaved himself down into the closest chair. He scanned the pop cans, candy wrappers, the pyramid of twinkies, and lastly the items that they were betting, and groaned. "Just what I need! I thought that we agreed that you weren't going to trap any more souls into objects! It's been three weeks and I still can't find that marble with the neighbor's dog in it. The poor little boy has been putting up missing posters for days now."

"Well then maybe they should have taught that yappy little rat how to pee in his own yard."

Ryou groaned again, and rubbed his forehead briskly in a circular pattern with one hand. "I think I'm getting a migraine."

Malik caught Bakura's eye, and mouthed 'drama queen'. Bakura nodded vigorously. Malik smothered a laugh.

Ryou stopped rubbing his head and glared at the two, who were by now staring back at him with wide eyed innocence.

"How come you guys are so…..carefree , these days? It's like you're totally worry free. What are you two up to? It's kind of starting to get annoying."

Malik shrugged, "It's just a matter of putting things into perspective."

Bakura nodded, "You just have to think of the situation in the grand scheme of things. It really helps."

Ryou looked at him with a half smile waiting for the punch line. When Bakura just continued to stare back at him, his look melted into confusion. "I don't understand."

Bakura cleared his throat, "Well you see…."

(To the tune of 'These are a few of my favorite things' from 'The sound of music')

"Just stolen god cards, and useful hikaris

Bright golden items, and cards that are scary

Pharaoh has been replaced with us as the kings

These are a few of our favorite things

Resourceful cronies, and hanged Yami doodles

Ominous death knells, and Ichiban noodles

Devious plans that in our brains will take wings

These are a few of our favorite things

When the plan fails

When the duels lost

When we're feeling sad

We simply remember our favorite things

And then we don't feel so bad".

He finished with a huge flourish, and Malik immediately broke out into applause.

Ryou slowly shook his head. "How long have you been planning that?"

"All week." Malik promply replied with a huge grin.

Ryou pushed himself to his feet, "You two really need a hobby."
