A/N: I was going to change this, but…

I guess I'll take another stab at a KennedyxMelina story.

"Why won't she give me the time of day?" Ken groaned as he complained to his two best friends, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton.

"Your bleach blonde hair probably blinded her," Randy said, causing a chuckle to escape from Chris's lips.

"Yeah, well at least my wife doesn't make me get shitty haircuts," Ken jested back, rolling his eyes.

"You don't even have a wife," Jericho conveniently reminded Ken. "If you did, you wouldn't be crying to us right now."

"Well have you seen her?" Ken almost squealed. He held in the urge to put his hands on Jericho's shoulders and shake him violently.

"Yes, I see her almost every day. She's kind of hard to miss."

"Then do you understand why I'm freaking out?"

"Dude, I hate to break it to you, but…" Randy paused, trying to think carefully about what to say. Unluckily for Randy, and Ken, thinking was not Randy's strong suit. "You're not her type. Hell, I didn't even think that she was your type."

"She's hot. Hot is my type."

"Yeah, but look at you two. You're fake tan with the orange sweating off of you. She's really tan. Her hair is super dark, and yours is almost as blinding as the sun. Don't you think you guys would look like crap together?"

"Haven't you ever heard that opposites attract?" Ken asked as if Randy was an idiot.

"Ken, I'm not stupid."

"Yes, you are," Jericho muttered.

Randy, not having heard Chris's remark, continued. "Of course I've heard that statement. It's just that you guys are only physical opposites. You guys have the exact same personality. You're both loud as hell and attract way too much attention. Her because of her looks, and you because of your hair. Oh, and the fact that you tend to yell 'KENNEDY' everywhere we go. Hell, when we went on that roller coaster last week, you screamed your name at the top of the hill."

"I have a cool name…"

"Yeah, but we don't need to hear it more than we already do. Look, just get over it. Besides, she just broke up with Batista. She needs time to heal her soul."

"Um, Randy?" Chris butted in. "She's the one that dumped the damn troll. She's still hung up on Morrison or something. How disturbing…"

"But she's been a bit…off lately. Anyone remember when she first got here?" Randy asked. "She was so nice. But ever since she and John split, she's been a right little bitch."

"Have you been spending time with Regal?" Chris asked, cocking his head to the side as he questioned Randy.

"…No."

"That's beside the point," Ken interfered, bringing the attention back to him and his problems. "Can we focus on the issue at hand?"

"What, that you're a useless prat?" Randy asked.

"Whatever. I mean that she totally blew me off!"

"What happened?"

"Well, you see…"
