Everyone was taught how to fly on a broom in their first year at Hogwarts. But when a new girl arrives at the school by flying and not by the train, things get a little hectic. Can she convince the teachers, students & Dumbledore she's not trying to kill them?
My name is Britta Kayitezi and I come from Pera. My world is like this one; the only difference is that dragons & humans co-exist together. I have the ability to fly without a broom. I am the only one in my family with that power because I was born with wings. Yes, I know it's weird, but I like my wings. They give me an advantage above everyone else. I can fly with the dragons whenever I wanted to.
My siblings were always begging me to take them flying, but I always refused. That was the time I got to spend with the dragons and think about my life. I was fourteen when I first got an invitation to go to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft & Wizardry. I only had to get there. My father had gone when he was younger and he gave me all the books that I would need so I would have to go to Diagon Alley and expose myself as a freak. Thanks dad.
When I saw the train below me as I flew towards Hogwarts, I couldn't help but think maybe my father was right. Maybe I was going to be labeled a freak. But I couldn't worry about that now. I had to worry about how I was going to explain my dragon friends showing up during winter break.
Would the dragons be killed for showing up at Hogwarts? Or would I be able to keep my friends out of harms way?
