We, the Sparky Army, decree 2008 to be the Year of the Spark. We pledge to post a new sparky story or chapter of a sparky story every day from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Though the Powers That Be have removed Elizabeth Weir from the regular cast of Stargate Atlantis, we feel that she remains an integral part of the show, and that the relationship between her and John Sheppard is too obvious to be ignored. We hope that you and anyone might happen to read these works, agree.

And if that isn't official enough for you, we don't know what is. Seriously, guys, we're just trying to have some --and show TPTB that Sparky is the way to go. So sit back and enjoy the 366 stories coming your way!

A/N: Just something short that I came up with in a short amount of time. Hope you like it.

Elizabeth slid into bed feeling awful. She and John had had an argument – a stupid argument over nothing. She realized that now. They had been having a lot of fights lately and neither of them had found the time to talk to each other and so neither had apologized. And it was beginning to eat away at Elizabeth. She was worried about her relationship with John. They had been going out for six months now and she was afraid that their time as a couple might now be over. But as this thought came, she was determined not to let that happen. She wouldn't give him up. She loved him too much.

Suddenly, she flung the covers off of herself and got out of bed. She couldn't take it any longer – couldn't wait until morning to apologize. Walking down the corridor to John's room she was glad it was fairly late so no one would see her in her pajamas.

As she turned the corner though, something blocker her path. That something turned out to be a someone. And that someone turned out to be none other than John Sheppard. For a moment they just stared at each other, both surprised.

Then Elizabeth broke the silence, "I was just coming to see you," she said quietly. "I wanted to say I'm sorry. For everything."

He smiled slightly. "Me too." No more words were needed and he pulled her into a kiss that left her breathless.

"I love you," she told him quietly when they came apart.

"I love you, too," he replied.

She stayed in his arms a while, just loving the feel of it and wishing the hug would never end.

Eventually John spoke. "Come on," he said, grabbing her hand. He then proceeded to lead her to his quarters.
