We, the Sparky Army, decree 2008 to be the Year of the Spark. We pledge to post a new sparky story or chapter of a sparky story every day from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Though the Powers that Be have removed Elizabeth Weir from the regular cast of Stargate Atlantis, we feel that she remains an integral part of the show, and that the relationship between her and John Sheppard is too obvious to be ignored. We hope that you, and anyone who might happen to read these works, agree.

And if that isn't official enough for you, we don't know what is. Seriously, guys, we're just trying to have some fun--and show TPTB that Sparky is the way to go. So sit back and enjoy the 366 stories coming your way!

A/N: Just something I came up with in half an hour. Sort of inspired by all the rainstorms we've been having lately. Hope you like it and tell me what you think!

Perfectly Fine

"John!" Elizabeth screamed his name as he plummeted towards the choppy waters of the ocean below. But the strong winds of the storm drowned out her voice. She watched with tears falling down her cheeks as he hit the water and disappeared from view. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning right in front of her. It was so bright she had to close her eyes.

As she opened them again, she suddenly realized she was no longer in her nightmare, but sitting up in her bed. Her heart was racing and tears were streaming down her face.

"Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth turned towards the tired voice at her left. Her husband was still half asleep but obviously awake enough to worry about her.

"You ok? A nightmare?"

"Yeah," she said answering both questions. Her breathing was back to normal and her heart rate hat slowed down. She lay back down, putting her head on John's chest. She snuggled up to him, lying slightly on her side. John put his arm around her, rubbing her back.

It was just a dream, she told herself. Just a dream and John's safe and still here – right next to me.

"You sure you're ok? Wanna tell me about it?"

"No," she spoke quietly, already drifting back to sleep in his arms. "I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine." And she was. Just as she always would be as long as she had John.
