Title: Cross Dimensional
Genre: Drama, Romance
Pairing: Perfect Pair (TezukaxFuji)
Summary: On one world, there are pulsing lights, the hypnotic trance music, the warmth of soft, sweaty flesh. On the other, there are apples and photography and tennis and Inui juices.
Warnings: Shonen-ai, OCCness, undying pointlessness
Disclaimers: Don't own 'em.
Notes: This is to comply with a request for new fics which the one suffering is Tezuka. Very nice suggestion! Though, this is just a drabble, and may not live up to expectations.
It is an ordinary December night in town, the soft snow is falling from the dark sky and the city lights are shimmering-
-like fire, like sparks alive.
His collar is being tugged by a university girl from a school not far from Seishun Gakuen. She is wearing something considerably short, not to mention skimpy.
And she is kissing Tezuka Kunimitsu.
He is kissing back, because there is nothing else to do.
He can't play tennis. Tennis was the place to live, and the place to let live. But he can't. If he sets foot in a court, he would see-
-the ghost would follow.
He can't walk by the bay and breathe the sea in and plunge into the waters, he could drown-
-he would sink with me.
He can't close his eyes, because there is no oblivion in the darkness, no refuge-
-blue shines on black.
So he would take another shot, down some more sake, he would-
-I'll drink you in.
There was more, more and more. Some part of him wanted to fly and crash, in a night when he's ready to lose everything that remains, but he is heavy he is on his knees, lost, and crumbling into dust.
There could be a lot more reasons.
Or, it could be just one thing-
Fuji Syusuke, and the words his silence says. Fuji Syusuke, and the way his presence is a comforting absence. The Fuji Syusuke-shaped hole last night left behind, empty and bleeding.
He could forget. For now. Forget every word ever spoken, every day of studying in Fuji's small room, every night of sex on Fuji's small bed.
Just one time and he could get on with it.
On one world, there are pulsing lights, the hypnotic trance music, the warmth of soft, sweaty flesh. On the other, there are apples and photography and tennis and Inui juices.
A/N: Somehow, it ended up not as sad as I planned it to be.
