It's been hours, but I was still huddled in a ball on the floor of the forest. How could this be happening? The love of my life just said he didn't want me? No, I didn't believe it. I rubbed my eyes trying to make myself wake up but nothing happened.

I got up and started walking in the direction that I had come. I stumbled over a branch and almost fell over but luckily I kept my balance. I reached the edge of the forest and came to a halt.

I don't know how long I stood there, thinking over what had just happened, but out of no where, there Edward was, standing there like he had never left.

How could he come back like that, after the things he had just said to me? I stood there, staring at his face, trying to figure out why he had done that to me. While I was staring, I realized that something was different. His face, his body, they were less beautiful and masculine as before.

"Edward?" I managed to choke out. I couldn't really believe this was him.

He cleared his throat. "Yes, Bella, it's me."

I gasped. His voice, it wasn't the same. It was his, except it sounded…human.

"Edward, are...are you...human?

"I am, Bella. I don't know exactly how I did it, but I am." He replied in that same voice.
