I groaned, sensing someone standing behind me. "What do you want?" I was glaring before I'd even fully turned around. "Oh, it's you, Emmett!" A grin slid onto my face easily after seeing the one on his. "Do you need something?"
His grin got wider. "Actually, I do, Little Sis. I need you to say something." He pulled out a mini recorder.
"What do you want me to say?"
"Just a little phrase I came up with while I watched The Simple Life reruns. Like 'That's hot', but better."
I was still skeptical. "Emmett, what is it?"
"'That's Cullenlicious', that's what I want you to say!" he roared through his laughter, holding onto the nearest tabletop.
"WHAT?!" I stared at him like he had grown two heads. "You want me to say WHAT?"
He calmed down for a moment. "I want you to say 'that's Cullenlicious'; why is that so hard to understand, Bella?"
I sat down on the carpet, sighing. "Emmett, I will not say that. It's ridiculous."
"No, it's Cullenlicious," he corrected me.
I glared up at him. "If I say it will you leave me alone?"
His grin was back. "Yes."
"Fine." I stood up, looking into the recorder. "That's Cullenlicious," I said in my very best imitation of 'So meaty' from The Soup. Emmett cracked up so much that he dropped the camera. I quickly snatched it up and ran – at a very fast pace AND I didn't trip – up the stairs to Edward's room and locked the door. I collapsed on the bed, tossing the recorder into some dark corner.
--Five Years Later--
We were sweeping through the house one last time before we had to leave for good. I'd made it through my first set of four years in college, and being married and a vampire on top of that. Who would have known that my 'power' would to be practically allergic to human blood?
"Hey, what's this?" Edward called to me from the other side of his enormous bedroom.
I immediately freaked out, racing over to destroy the tape. "It's nothing. Just something Emmett made me do when I was still human." I was too late.
"That's Cullenlicious" I heard my former self say. Edward looked over to me, a single eyebrow quirked.
