"I kissed a girl and I liked it…"

"I kissed a girl and I liked it…"

"What annoying thing is happening now?" Dr Cox muttered.

"The taste of her cherry chap stick…"

"I think it's JD…" Carla smirked. Sure enough, the resident sauntered round the corner with a huge grin on his face.

"I kissed a girl just to try it…"

"Newbie, what the hell is that irritating noise?"

JD's smile slipped momentarily.

"Sorry, Dr Cox. I've just got a song stuck in my head…"

"Yes, in your head, keep it there; do not share it with the rest of the world!"

"Why not, it's a good song!"

"It's a crap song and she cannawt sing! Neither can you for that matter"

"Well it's in my head and there's nothing you can do about it!" JD grinned. "If a song's stuck in my head I have to sing it! I hope my boyfriend don't mind it…"

Carla smirked again at Dr Cox.

"Enjoy!" she muttered.

"It felt so wrong, it felt so right, don't mean I'm in love tonight…I don't get why you hate her so much anyway, she's your namesake!" JD carried on as he and Dr Cox walked off to a patient's room.

"My namesake, Sheila?"

"Yeah. Katy Perry. Perry Cox!"

"Oh dear God…"

"Us girls we are so magical…"

"You girls sure are, Alicia"

"I'm not listening! Soft skin, red lips, so kissable!"

Dr Cox turned around to face JD.

"Come on, Newbie, I am begging you, I implore you to stop singing that god-awful song, I mean its bad enough having to hear it on the radio and on every music TV station every five minutes, not to mention Jordan buying the CD purely to piss me off, without you singing it so ple-he-hease stop the singing!"

"Hard to resist so touchable…"

JD sighed.

"Look, Perry, I'm sorry if it annoys you, but there is nothing I can do! I've tried everything, I've tried singing a different song, I've tried ignoring it, and I've tried just not thinking at all! And nothing worked. There's nothing I can do about it!"

Suddenly, Dr Cox pushed him through a door into a supply closet and practically through him against the wall. JD felt the pair of lips crushing against his own, forcing him to cooperate…not that he wouldn't have anyway. Dr Cox let out a soft moan as he deepened the kiss, and JD slid his arms around his mentor's neck. Their tongues circled each other, and JD smiled mentally.

Then it ended as abruptly as it had begun as Dr Cox pulled away.

"Has that made you forget the song, Newbie?"

JD nodded in shock and happy surprise.

Dr Cox opened the door and walked out. JD followed him, but stopped when he heard what Dr Cox was singing.

"I kissed a girl and I liked it…"

JD grinned, and walked off in the other direction.
