Genre: humor, tiny bit of romance
Prompt: 001 Clouds from table 003
Disclaimer: There not mine. It sucks. Life goes on.
Stephen wasn't quite sure how he got roped into this, or who exactly it was that roped him in, but he was pretty sure that it was Natalie and that damned smile of hers. And possibly the tone of her voice when she said that he needed to get out of the office. But that still didn't explain why he let her drag him into an open field behind her apartment building in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Or why he was laying on the ground next to her in said field behind her apartment building. Its not that he didn't mind spending time with her outside of work, its just that he could of thought of some better things for them to do with their time than trying to figure out what the clouds were shaped like. He was brought out of his thoughts when he felt something poke him in the side. He turned to look at her, a questioning look in his eyes. "Yes?"
"You alive there?" She asked quietly, a small smile forming on her face.
"Yeah, just thinking."
"If it's about anything other than cloud shapes I may I have to hurt you."
"No, no, I was definitely thinking about cloud shapes." He smiled, turning back to face the sky. "That one looks like a seahorse."
"You are such a liar." She said hitting him on the arm. "And I have never seen a seahorse with two heads."
"Oh so now your expert on seahorse shaped clouds?" He turned back to look at her, a smile forming when he saw the look on her face.
"Just shut-up and stare at the clouds Stephen." She said with a smile, her tiny hand sliding into his.
"Okay, but I'm telling you, that one's shaped like a seahorse." He retorted, squeezing her hand gently. She laughed and he swore it was the most beautiful thing he ever heard. Okay, so maybe laying in a field behind her apartment with her trying to figure out what the clouds were shaped like wasn't so bad after all.
