"Leave me alone!"
Lily continued quickly down the deserted corridor, her dressing gown billowing behind her and loud footsteps echoing across the stone floor.
"You'd call anyone of my birth by that horrid name. hy should I be spared from your beliefs, Severus?"
Without waiting for an answer, Lily emerged at the portrait housing the Fat Lady and attempted to enter the Gryffindor Tower.
Snape stepped lightly in front of her. "They're not my beliefs."
"Don't lie to me. I know what you strive to become, what your friends strive to become. I thought you were different-"
She shook her head and pulled out her wand, pointing it directly at Snape's chest.
"You always said we would be friends, Sev. That stupid take you created about is working together, as if you viewed us as equals. Well, here's a 'tale' for you then, one that will be much stronger than our so-called friendship!"
With a wave of her wand and a swish of her fiery red hair, Snape was left at the Gryffindor entrance with a large furry tail emerging from his pyjama bottoms, and a broken heart.
