Voldemort found himself in a boat. He had no idea how he had ended up here, but he wanted to go back and kill Potter. As the boat moved along he saw hands reaching up to him and then the faces of the people that he had killed.

   "Where am I?" Voldemort asked.

"Your heading to hell," said the voice that he recognized.

He looked up to see Hermione Granger moving the boat.

"Well the little Mudblood is going with me," he said, grinning.

"I wouldn't be so cocky, Riddle," said the cold voice of Severus Snape.

He turned and saw the man that he killed with him. The two bite marks the only thing that told him that he had killed him.

"You're going to hell as well," Voldemort said.

"No, he's not," Hermione said. "He will be working for me as part of his deal that he's made with the higher ones."

Snape grinned at him.

"You're working for a Mudblood," Voldemort said, laughing. "That's rich."

"Don't you dare call her that," Snape snarled and punched him as hard as he could.

Hermione grinned nastily.

"Now no fighting," she said. "Not until we get to the other side."

The words had barely left her when they did reach the other side.

"Get moving, Riddle," Snape said. "I've been waiting a long time to see your punishment."

He pushed Voldemort out of the boat and onto dry land.

"I'll return to the mortal world," he vowed.

"I don't think so," Hermione said and then she changed.

Standing there was a young girl with a staring expression and long black hair. She gave him the sensation that she was something you didn't trifle with.

"Your punishment will be to be re-born," Hermione told him. "You shall have no magic and no knowledge of the world that you tried to destroy. When you wake up all of this will be a dream."

And the flames went up and the world dissolved.

Tom Riddle woke with a start and groaned. He had had this dream for along time, but he didn't hear the words.

"Dear, are you heading off to work," asked the voice of his wife, Mary.

"Yes," Tom said. "Let me shower and dress."

He showered and a few minutes later he was ready. He kissed his wife and then settled for breakfast.

"So do you think your invention will lift off?" his wife asked.

"I hope so," Tom said. "After all who needs radio anymore? TV's are the wave of the future. Along with another invention that I think will really pay the way."

   "And what's that?"

   "It's a little thing called a Microwave."

His wife laughed.

"You and your silly ideas," she said.

He smiled back.

"So do you think he'll be happy?" Severus asked years and years later.

"Oh he will," Hermione said. "At least now no one died."

And they all headed back home, to hell.

A/N: So what do you think about it. I know that TV's were seen years before Riddle was born but I wanted to put him in doing something that was different. Oh and he did, in my story, invent the Microwave.
