We, the Sparky Army, decree 2008 to be the Year of the Spark. We pledge to post a new sparky story or chapter of a sparky story every day from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Though the Powers that Be have removed Elizabeth Weir from the regular cast of Stargate Atlantis, we feel that she remains an integral part of the show, and that the relationship between her and John Sheppard is too obvious to be ignored. We hope that you, and anyone might happen to read these works, agree.
And if that isn't official enough for you, we don't know what is. Seriously, guys, we're just trying to have some fun--and show TPTB that Sparky is the way to go. So sit back and enjoy the 366 stories coming your way!
A/N: I couldn't hold back the little innuendo. :hangs head: Well, I hope you enjoy it. :)
„Would you please stop moving?" Elizabeth let out an irritated sigh.
"I'm just trying to find a comfortable position," John said and shifted more.
"Since an hour, John, an hour! There are people who actually need to sleep and don't have a day off tomorrow," she sat up and a loud thud followed.
"John!" Elizabeth leant over the edge of the bed and looked down at him. "Are you all right?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," he groaned while he sat up stretching his back. "If you want the bed for yourself you just should have said it."
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to…," she watched him standing up.
"Kick me off the bed?" he raised an eyebrow but before Elizabeth could open her mouth in protest he placed his lips on hers. "So," he said as he broke their kiss. "Am I allowed back into the bed or do I have to sleep on the couch?"
"Of course you can come back," she raised the blanket with a slight smirk on her lips. They moved into a comfortable position Elizabeth lying half on top of him to fit into the tiny bed.
"As much as I love having your absolutely hot body so near to mine…we need a bigger bed," he looked at her seriously. "We would have more room for one selves and for…," he trailed off grinning.
"Sure," she said kissing the seductively smirk off his face. "But wouldn't it be a bit suspicious if you or I would order a new bigger bed? The rumours about us are already bad enough."
"We just order bigger beds for everyone then they won't get the idea that there's something going on between us," he said slightly shrugging. "I'm sure we're not the only ones benefiting from it."
"Good, then you can explain to General Landry why we need about nearly a hundred new beds besides the already high costs for food, ammunition, medications and everything else," she said looking at him and his smile vanished.
"But-," he tried to protest.
"Well, I guess then we have to stick to the old ways," she raised her eyebrow.
"All right, I'll do it," he gave up in an instant.
"Good, I can't await it," she grinned kissing him again.
