A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

The GALACTIC EMPIRE has controlled the newly discovered world of NEW KORRIBAN for over a year. The planet's old protectors, the environmentalist group known only as AVALANCHE, have fled their home world to seek refuge with the rapidly growing REBEL ALLIANCE, the Empire's primary threat. Only one of the group's members, VINCENT VALENTINE, has opted to remain on New Korriban, for personal reasons of his own.

Even though the planet is assimilating well into Imperial civilization, a renegade militia calling themselves DEEPGROUND SOLDIER, has abducted countless amounts of civilians into the night. This army of elite ex-SOLDIERs, led by dangerous warriors called the TSVIETS, have managed to thin New Korriban's Imperial garrison to a minimal amount of reinforcements.

Fearing the wrath of LORD DARTH VADER should the Empire lose New Korriban to Deepground, the generals commanding the garrison have decided to hire a familiar bounty hunter to assist in dealing with the troubled planet once again…

Disclaimer: I do not in any way claim the rights to Lucas' Star Wars series, or for that matter, Square-Enix's Final Fantasy VII compilation. This is merely a curious attempt to cross two worlds together, without any claim to financial imbursement.

Author's Note: Long time coming, I know. Hate me if you want to, love me if you can. My main issue with coming up with a sequel was whether to cover the events of Dirge of Cerberus or the Original Trilogy first. I originally planned on just beginning with a New Hope, briefly explaining within the story what occurred during Dirge, but there was just too much I would have left out concerning the story of Final Fantasy VII. I found Vincent's little adventure to be quite complicated, to tell you the truth, and even now it still has me a little confused.

Playing Crisis Core recently however has cleared up much of the block for this story for me. I guess what I really needed was for Final Fantasy VII's story to be wrapped up a little more completely for me to continue. Enjoy the madness I conjure up this time around, and thank you all for your incredible patience. This was definitely long overdue.

By the way… in regards to timeline: Silver Mercury took place two years before A New Hope. It would only serve for Deepground Rebellion to occur one year before the fated Battle of Yavin.
