Unforgiven II

Unforgiven II

I do not own Metallica or Gundam Wing

Lay beside me, tell me what they've done

Speak the words I wanna hear, to make my demons run

The door is locked now, but it's open if you're true

If you can understand the me, then I can understand the you

Lay beside me, under wicked sky

The black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze

The door cracks open, but ther's no sun shing through

No, there's no sun shining through

No there's no sun shining…

Wufei sat outside, leaning against the railing of a bridge. It was near sunrise, the stars were still out. He could still not forgive himself for what he did. He lost Meiran and now he began to feel close to Sally, but he couldn't because if he did, he might lose her too.

What I've felt, what I've known

Turn the pages, turn the stone

Behidn the door, shoud I open it for you…

What I've felt, what I've known

Sick and tired I stand alone

Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits for you

Or are you forgiven too?

Lay beside me, this won't hurt I swear

She loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again

She lay beside me, but she'll be there when I'm gone

Black heart scarring darker still, yes she'll be there when I'm gone

Yes, she'll be there when I'm gone

Dead sure she'll be there…

He looked out a the river and wished he was liked the river. It was so peaceful. It had no flaws. He didn't even feel like a man. He closed his eyes.

What I've felt, what I've known

Turn the pages, turn the stone

Behind the door, should I open it for you…

Wufei took a breath.

What I've felt, what I've known

Sick and tired, I stand alone

Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits for you

Or are you unforgiven too?

Wufei opened his eyes.

Lay beside me, tell me what I've done

The door is closed, so are your eyes

But now I see the sun, no I see the sun

Yes now I see it

Wufei saw the sun coming rising on the horizon. He smiled at his warmth. It seemed like the only thing he could welcome and not feel guilty about.

What I've felt , what I've known

Turn the pages, turn the stone

Behind the door, should I open it for you…

What I've felt, what I've known

Sick and tired I stand alone

Could you be there, 'cause I'm the one who waits,

The one who waits for you…

Wufei couldn't bring himself to finally forgive himself. Or could he? Has it been long enough?

Oh what I've felt, what I've knon

Turn the pages, turn the stone

Behind the door, should I open it for you…(So I dubt thee unforgiven…)

Oh, what I've felt…

Oh, what I've known…

I take this key (never free…)

And I bury it (never me…) in you

Because you're unforgiven too…

Never Free…

Never me…

'Cause you're unforgiven too…

Oh

Wufei looked at the sparkles on the water, "Get a grip, Wufei, it's over." He put his hands on the railing, "There's nothing you can do now. Everyone makes mistakes and it's time to learn from yours."

"Wufei??"

"Sally?"

"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" she asked, wearing jogging pants and a windbreaker.

"I've been here since midnight," he groaned.

"Oh, I see." She walked up to him and looked at the river. "This place looks so nice at night, doesn't it?"

"It's my favorite spot." He looked at her. If she could forgive him, maybe he could forgive himself. "Sally, do you think people could ever be forgiven for anything?"

She nodded, "if they really want to be."

"Well, I do."

"Then, you're forgiven."

"Huh? I didn't' even tell you…"

"It doesn't matter," she smiled and put her hand on his shoulder. She started jogging, "if you want something bad enough, you'll get it and now you do."

Wufei watched her leave and truly was able to forgive himself.
