Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Annabeth's POV

Hi, I'm Annabeth Chase. I'm twenty seven and I'm married to Seaweed Brain, A.K.A Percy Jackson. We've been married for six years and we have an adorable four year old daughter who has Percy's sea green eyes and my blond hair. Her name is Sophia Emma Jackson, or Sophie.

I am currently sitting on the couch and trying to read a book. It was now Christmas Eve and Percy still hasn't came back from Camp Half Blood. Chiron had asked him to teach a couple of sword lessons because he was the best swordsmen at Camp.

"Mommy, when is daddy coming home?" a voice from behind said. It was Sophie.

"I don't know honey, but soon," I said to her. I glanced at the clock, it read nine.

"Come on, it's time for your bedtime," I picked her up and carried her to her room.

"But Mommy! I want to wait for Santa to come!" she yelled.

"Santa can't come if you're awake. You'll see the gifts in the morning," I said and tucked her in.

I went back downstairs and continued to read my book, until I heard a noise coming from the front door. I took out my dagger from my pocket and hid behind the dining room wall, which was the nearest wall next to the door. I caught a glimpse of the person, he was wearing a Santa costume. I saw the door open and charged. I tripped him and he fell to the floor. The person yelped in surprise.

"Ahhhh, Annabeth! Is that how you're supposed to greet you husband," Percy said.

"Oh my gods, Percy!? Why on Earth are you wearing a Santa costume?" I asked him while helping him up.

"I was going to surprise you and Sophie, which obviously I surprised you," he said once he got up. I laughed. We went to the living room and we stood under the mistletoe.

"Now for a Christmas Eve kiss," he said and leaned in. We kissed, but we were interrupted from a cry.

"Get away from my Mommy, Santa!" Sophie screamed. She ran over to Percy, 'Santa,' and hit him in the place where you didn't want to be hit in. Percy yelped in pain. I had to stifle a laugh at the sight of my daughter hitting her father.

"Mommy don't you wuv (love) Daddy anymore? Why are you kissing Santa?" she started to cry. I went over and picked her up.

"Yes, I still do love Daddy. Daddy is right there in the Santa costume. I kissed him, not Santa," I went over to Percy and grabbed the hat and beard.

"Yeah, Sophie it just me," Percy said.

"Daddy!" she yelled and ran out of my arms into his.

"Does this mean you aren't Santa?" she asked. He chuckled.

"No honey," he said.

"Now lets get you to bed," I said. We both tucked her in and gave her a goodnight kiss. We headed to our room and got ready for bed. Instead of going straight to bed, we headed down into the living room.

"She gets the attitude from you," Percy said. I kicked him and he yelped for the third time tonight.

"Maybe our next baby will be more like you," I said to him.

"Ye- wait… next baby?" he asked me. I laughed and headed back up. But once I reached the top of the stairs, I looked back down and saw Percy with a confused look on his face and I laughed once again. I slipped into the covers of our bed and laid down. I heard the door open and close. Percy came under the covers with me.

"Next baby? Are you serious?" he asked. I decided to play with his mind.

"I don't know, why don't you figure that out," I said and cuddled next to him.

"What!?" he said with an obvious hint of confusion in his voice. I smiled and fell asleep. It was a very eventful Christmas Eve, so to say.
