A/N: Why is there no more Fujoshi Rumi love? Shame on you fandom :(. I just read this manga the other day, and it's filled with so much epic hilarity and cuteness that I just had to write for it.

DISCLAIMER: Natsumi Konjoh's, not mine.

"W—Wh—What?!"

"Oh come on Rumi, I think he's great!"

"B—but…"

"Just give him a chance, you'll have fun, I promise!"

Rumi sighed as she walked, her stride just a few paces behind Abe's lanky step. This is weird… She thought, he hasn't said a word to me since we left…

Abe stopped short, Rumi's face bumping into his back. "Oomph!" she muttered, her glasses pressing into her nose. Abe immediately turned around, a light blush on his face. "Oh, sorry, Asai," he said, watching as she adjusted her glasses. "You Okay?"

"Oh yeah, I'm fine!" she replied, smiling up at him.

Abe allowed a smile to play on his face, but it quickly faded. "You know…Asai…" he murmured, his head looking down at the suddenly interesting cement beneath his shoes.

"Huh? What is it Abe?" she replied, giving him a look of concern.

"You know…you don't have to go out with me…you know…on this date…if you uh…didn't want…to…" The entire sentence came out in inaudible chunks, and left Abe looking as red as a tomato.

"Wh—what do you mean?"

"I mean…well…Chiba-chi and Matsui set this up didn't they? I just wanted you to know that…if you didn't want to go…it's Okay with me. I know you don't really like me like that anyway…"

Rumi looked at the poor stuttering boy as he tried to put his feelings into words. Rumi couldn't explain it, but the combination of Abe's bright red face, his low-riding cargo shorts that just peeked at a hint of blue boxers underneath, and his loss for words made him look almost…cute. It's like yaoi moe without the cat-ears! she exclaimed in her head.

"No! I don't mind at all!" She answered, walking past him towards the movie theater. "Sure Matsun pushed me into going, but I'm having fun! Now come on, we're going to be late for the movie!"

Abe looked at her stupidly for a second, dumbfounded. She doesn't mind? She's having fun? We haven't even done anything yet! He sighed, smiling. "Alright! I'm coming!"

He caught up to her, his stomach fluttering madly. I can't believe she actually wants to go on a date with me! This is like my fantasy come to life!

The butterflies in his stomach went absolutely crazy as he felt her hand brush his and slowly curl around it. His eyes widened as his brain tried to process what was was a delayed reaction, but eventually his fingers slowly curled around hers. He sneaked a peek down at Asai, whose face was now dusted with a tiny hint of a blush. Maybe… He thought, maybe I could make this work…

"You know Abe," Rumi said, looking up at him. "When you blush, you look just like the new character from Full Metal Prince!"

Abe sighed, but smiled all the same. Then again, he thought, maybe falling in love with a fujoshi is going to be harder than I thought…
