"Dean, I feel like an idiot." Sam squirmed around uncomfortably, trying to dislodge the strange weight on his back.

"Like that's anything new?" His brother answered with a grin, slapping Sam's hand away before he could try to remove the source of his troubles from his back. "Look, dude, it was a fair bet, and you lost. Suck it up and deal with it."

"But I didn't think you'd actually go through with it!" Sam exploded. "We haven't dressed up for Halloween...well, ever. How was I supposed to know you were serious? You're never serious."

Dean snorted. "When it comes to pie eating bets I am. And you lost, and I got to pick your costume, and now you have to show it off in public. Again, deal with it."

"But an angel? Come on!" Sam once again tried to remove the pair of fairy wings Dean had manhandled him into. "I really don't find this funny."

"Neither do I." The solemn voice came from Sam's left, and he jumped as soon as he heard it. Eyes widening, he watched as Castiel appraised the long trench coat and blue tie that Sam wore in addition to the sparkly pink wings.

"Uh, hey Castiel. Happy Halloween?" Sam tried, flinching as the words left his mouth. Before he could stick his foot in any further, though, something else came to his attention.

"Dean," Sam sputtered. "Is he--is he supposed to be me?"

Dean laughed loudly and looked over at Castiel, decked out in a flannel and jeans, with some type of horrendously large brown wig resting on his head.

"Dean?" Sam growled. Castiel looked to Dean as well.

Dean shrugged. "Hey, he has to follow my orders now. God didn't specify what kind of orders." He motioned to a bag in the angel's hands. "Are those our cheeseburgers?"

Castiel handed over the burgers. Sam groaned and banged his head against the wall.

Burger half-hanging out of his mouth, Dean clapped his hands together and looked over his troops. "Okay, then. Who's ready for some trick-or-treating?"
