Forever Eternity

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the bright sun hanging down over top of me. It burned my eyes when I looked at it. I quickly looked around to locate any signs of danger.

Nothing.

I quietly sat up in order to see more of my surroundings. It took me less than a second to decide this and even less time for my brain to respond. How different this was. My movements were very quick but my eyes could see it all clearly. What was this life I had waken upon?

Suddenly my eyes went blank and a clear picture filled the space in front of my eyes. I started to panic. What was happening? The picture was of a young man, no older than I was. His long, honey blonde hair hung slightly in his perfectly proportioned face. The moment I saw his face, I knew he was the one I was looking for. I began to run before the vision was complete. I ran quietly through the trees. The speed in this life was incredible! I wanted to stop and look myself over but I was determined to find the perfect face I saw in my vision.

What would happen when I found him? Would he know what happened to me? Would he be like me?

As I thought of this, my eyes went blank for the second time since I woke. It was a vision of a family, only there was something out of place. Standing there, slightly off to the side, was the honey blonde man from my vision before and myself. I stopped running from surprise. Who were these people? What was I doing there? I looked closer at my face. Is that really what I looked like? I was just as beautiful as the others. Standing beside me was the man from my vision. We were standing close together, our hands linked.

I concentrated on the rest of the family. They all looked the same yet different at the same time. They were talking to each other. I caught a few names even though they weren't speaking loud. The taller one with blond hair was Carlisle. From the way the others looked at him, I assumed he was the one in charge. The woman beside him, clearly his wife, was Esme. She looked like the kindest of them all. The tallest, and biggest, in the family was Emmett. He was holding hands with the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. The last man was more boy than man. I couldn't quite catch his name as he spoke in a low quick voice to the beautiful woman beside him.

Just as suddenly as the vision came, it disappeared. I looked around the place where I had stopped. I was on the outskirts of a small town. I realized, as I looked around, that it was raining. The small water droplet seemed to have no affect on my pale skin.

I decided to stop inside the first place I saw, to wait for the blonde man to find me. Of course, I wasn't sure if he would find me, but I had some kind of feeling that he'd be here. I quietly snuck into a small bar filled with people. My throat burst into flame. The people here smelled so good. I leaned closer to the nearest man and then I stopped.

What was I doing? Why did these people smell so appetizing? What was wrong with me?

I slowly straightened my posture and walked as slow as I could to the counter. I sat on the nearest stool, turned towards the door, and waited.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, the door opened and the man from my vision stepped in. He looked exactly the same. There was no difference between him and the man in my visions.

I saw him step off to the side, avoiding everyone and everything around him. I hopped off my stool and approached him as slowly as I could. I saw something click in his eyes as he took in my appearance.

"You've kept me waiting a long time," I said.

He ducked his head and said in a heavy southern accent, "I'm sorry mam"

I smiled shyly and he smiled back. I took his hand and skipped blissfully into our forever.

NOTE: This is most likely not exactly how Alice and Jasper met but I tried to write it how I thought they met.
