When one person is cursed, two graves are dug.

"Hey, Sasuke-kun, are you alright?" Sakura asked her brunette teammate. Sasuke glanced at her before shaking his head.

Sakura watched him worriedly as he got up and walked over to the river they were resting by.

"Ne, Sakura?" Sasuke started, not looking at the pink-haired girl. "Did you know the Uchiha land was by a lake. It was kind of small, but I didn't mind. I used to go there to practice my ninjutsu."

There was a long pause.

"It was fun and I loved everyday," Sasuke looked back at Sakura. "What happened?" He looked back at the water, his eyes hard.

Sakura took a deep breath before speaking. "Sasuke-kun, I think...you've closed off your heart. You're afraid to love because of what happened. You blame your love for the pain your feeling. Loving someone is painful. So very painful"

Sakura took a shaky breath and wiped away her tears. "But it's worth it. Or at least, I think so Sasuke-kun"

Sasuke looked back with his eyes and gave a small smile as his ventured back to the water.

"I'm cursed Sakura. You should give on me. I will bring you nothing but hurt and pain."

You should give up on me.

Sasuke looked at her, eyes wide in surprise at the anger in her voice.

"I will never give up on you Sasuke-kun! I love you so much and you know that! I love you so much that I want to save you. So please..."Sakura walked to Sasuke and hugged him from behind. "Don't give up"

They sat in almost silence, the only sound coming from Sakura's muffled sobs as she cried into Sasuke's shirt.

Sasuke knew he should push the girl away, telling her he wasn't worth it.

But he was only human and humans want to know they're loved...even if it's only temporary.

Don't give up

And that love would get him through whatever curse he put upon himself, because love is a curse and when one person is cursed, two graves are dug.

This is my cry for help...I wonder if anyone is listening.
