A/N: This was a response to a challenge over at the brothers100 community at LiveJournal. Not much else to say, other than... I'm back!

(Oh, and for those of you wondering, I am still working on Vengeance - next chapter will hopefully be out within a couple weeks.)

"Honey, you look so handsome!"

"Mom…"

Bill Guster chuckled as he threw an arm around his exasperated son's shoulders. "We're proud of you, son."

"Thanks, Dad."

Bill squeezed Gus' shoulders once before dropping his arm to take his wife's hand. "Come on, Winnie, we better go sit down before Joy gives up our seats." Planting one last kiss on Gus' cheek, Winnie followed her husband out, leaving Gus to sigh in relief. He moved to stand in front of the mirror, smoothing out the wrinkles in his graduation robe.

"Dude, those caps look just as dorky in college as they did in high school."

Gus whirled around, a surprised grin on his face when he spotted his best friend leaning against the doorframe. "Shawn!" He looked thinner than the last time Gus had seen him, but he had a grin on his face large enough to match Gus'.

Shawn pushed off the doorframe, fist bumping his friend before getting pulled into a hug. "I thought you weren't going to make it," Gus confessed.

Shawn smirked. "And miss the chance to snap a few embarrassing photos of you in this ridiculous outfit? Gus, please – this is the chance of a lifetime!"

End.
