AN: Hey! I was struck with some creativity one night, and I simply had to right it down. I knew it had to be one of my favorite pairings, and Jake and Nessie need some love! I had my friends read this before I posted, and I hope you all like it as much as they did!

DISCLAIMER! I don't own any of the characters I am about to mention...blah, blah, blah...done!

I awoke one night from a beautiful dream. Jacob and I were curled up on the sofa in my grandparent's immaculate home, he, still snoring like thunder in a storm. My mother and father, in all my sixteen years of life, never left us alone for too long, but these were the moments I loved best. His rumbling was one of my favorite sounds in the world, and I could listen to it forever.

"Jake," I whispered in his ear.

The noise coming from the back of his throat ceased with a snort.

"What is it Ness?" he mumbled, still half asleep.

I snuggled closer into his warm chest, and stroked from his temple down to rest my hand lightly on his cheek.

How much do you love me? I questioned silently.

He wrapped his strong arms around me tighter in a cradling motion.

"More than I'll ever love anyone for as long as I live," he breathed

Will you love me forever?

"If I last that long," he chuckled softly.

More than anything, I hoped this could last forever. If it didn't, I didn't know what I would do. I could never live without my Jacob.

Thinking this, I must have looked too deep in thought to seem normal, because he peered down at me with concerned, probing eyes.

"Is there something you want to tell me?"

I shook my head vigorously.

"Is there something you want to show me?

I considered this for a moment, and timidly lifted my hand to his smoldering face again.

"Ahh," he sighed as I showed him my dream.

He took a minute to ponder after I had slid my hand down to his chest. He didn't speak for a long time.

My dream had been beautiful. Many flowers had been expertly laced up the staircase, obviously done with Aunt Alice's nimble fingers, to create a fairytale-like setting. Lovely strands of ribbon and garland had been strung from the beams of the cathedral ceiling in Carlisle and Esme's charming white house. My parents were there, forever in there teenage states, seated in the front row of chairs nearest the altar. My extended family sat behind them, and Old Billy Black was seated a few rows back, tears in his eyes, next to Seth Clearwater and his girl. Jacob and I stood at the front; he was sliding a ring onto my finger as he said 'I do', just like Paul and Rachel had at their wedding. A single tear rolled down my cheek, and he caught it before it fell and hit the satin and lace that was my dress.

And then I had woken up. I had almost sobbed when I understood that my dream was not a reality.

"I'll have to get a ring," Jacob said quietly.

My brown eyes widened, and I gazed up at him with as much love as I could muster.

Really? I touched his gorgeous face again.

"Really," he smiled.

"I love you," I said trying not to scream in my excitement.

"I'll always love you more," he said, his eyes telling me the truth behind the words.

I reached up to kiss his lips. He greeted mine with the soft touch of his.

"As long as we both shall live," I recited, and he tenderly kissed me again.

The End
