Ok, short fic about House and Wilson going on a camping trip. Inspired by a card I saw in the shop, so sorry if anyone has already read the card (you probably haven't if you're American).
House and Wilson lay asleep in their separate sleeping bags, their breaths quiet and relaxed.
The warm fire crackled away a few metres from the two sleeping men.
Various animal noises could be heard coming from rustling trees and hedges in the distance.
House awoke in the middle of the night and stared up at the night sky. He frowned before nudging his faithful friend, Wilson.
Wilson stirred and mumbled in his sleep before slowly opening his eyes and turning to face House.
"Mmmm?" He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"Wilson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see." House said, pointing up at the sky.
Wilson looked up at the sky and furrowed his brow with a long yawn.
"I see millions and millions of stars." Wilson replied, glancing towards House again.
"What does that tell you, Wilson?"
"Well... astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets." Wilson paused as he thought about what to say next. "Horologically, I guess that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Meteorologically, I suppose that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow." Wilson finished, before frowning. "Why, what does it tell you?" He asked, turning to face House again.
House was silent for a few moments before he spoke.
"Wilson, someone has stolen our tent."
