I woke up and looked at the reason. The Cat was sitting on me. I snarled, "Off." The Cat looked at me. She hissed, "Fine. You're not that warm anyway." She jumped from my back and walked out the room. The Boy looked up from his project and said, "Be good Hershey." I wagged my tail and the Boy smiled, then turned back to his project. The Boy looked done. He looked at it and said, "It just needs a little something. Oh! Ha-ha. A car. Duh." He wheeled backward and ran over the Cat's tail. She had snuck back in. She screeched and shot under the bed. The Boy looked down and scolded, "You know better than to get behind the wheel chair." He wheeled over to the closet and tried to open it. I jumped off the bed and walked over to the closet. The Boy wheeled backwards, I opened the closet. The Boy looked at me and smiled. He said, "Thanks. You're a good chocolate lab. All sweet and cuddly." He wheeled himself forward and got the box of old cars. The Cat muttered something about being a big help. I went to sit by the Boy. The Boy let one of the cars go down the ramp. He said, "I'm going to make that one day, you just wait. No limits on where I can go. I thought after the crash, I'd never be normal again. But then Mama got you. Then I knew I was going to be alright. Look, there's you. Waiting for me at the bottom. Any kid with walking problems will be able to use it. Thanks Hershey." I barked happily. Then I turned and woofed, "And that is why Dog is Man's best friend."
