A/N: Okay. This is my first fic and I hope you guys like it... : p
I do not own Annie on my mind. Nancy Garden Does.
I was sitting on the chair waiting for Annie's plane to land. She told me that it would be here 8 o'clock am. It's now 8:20. I sighed and looked around the arrivals waiting area to see if something could entertain me. An older looking woman with her 2 children was sitting 2 rows down from me. From the look on her face, it seemed that she was tired. I was also tired too because I couldn't sleep at all last night because I was too excited to see Annie again.
People were starting arrive from the turmoil and I sat there while a man came up to the old lady and the kids were screaming " Daddy!Daddy!" The man leaned down and hugged them. I sighed and closed my eyes.
"Eliza!" Said a voice. I turned around to see Annie standing there with her luggage and her lumber coat. I smiled and got up. She smiled back, dropped her belongings and ran towards me. She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug and she said "oh how I missed you." I smiled. Just the sound of her voice made my knees weak.
"I missed you too. And I'm so sorry for not writing back. I didn't know what to write in my letter and I got scared." I said into her hair. I could feel my heart beating faster as I said it to her. Annie pulled away from me and looked into my eyes. Tears stared to run down her face and I started to panic.
"Annie, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Annie, please, tell me what's wrong." I asked with a pleading look on my face. Annie smiled weakly and said "you're such a jerk sometimes." I looked away and blushed. Annie continued to stare at me but more on my lips and she started to lean in. We were just about to kiss but then she stopped herself. She turned around and went to pick up her stuff from off the floor. I took a deep breath and then sighed.
"So, where are we going?" she asked with her luggage in her hands and her lumber jacket on her shoulder.
"Oh um, I was thinking that you could come over to my dorm room and you could stay there while you're here. Then maybe tomorrow, I could show you around Boston?" I said while looking at the ground. When I looked up, Annie's head was tilted to the side with a curious look on her face.
"And what about your roommate? Isn't she there to?"Annie asked.
"Nope. She went to Canada to go and see her best friend named Mike. So she said that I could use the room if I wanted to. Also she said hi. She was planing to meet you but her friend wanted her to come home early. It's like he's in love with her and that he can't wait to see her."I said.
"Well I know how it feels not to see someone that is very important to you in a long time too." Annie said with a smile on her face. I blushed again and coughed.
"Shall we get going?" I said and Annie nodded. We walked through the doors and haled a cab.
