Woo ho! Another drabble about absolutely nothing. I really need to get a hobby that isn't writing or memorizing the periodic table...

He loves the ocean. He loves its beautiful sparkling waves. He loves it ever changing blue color that's brilliance cannot be mimicked. He loves how it is home to thousands of amazing creatures and treats them all like a mother. He loves how the sea can hold thousands of adventures, just waiting for him. Yes, he loves the sea.

But the sea does not love him.

It's mother to so many things, it is kind of like a mother to him. Yet, he is not like a son to the sea. The sea treats him like an enemy, like a horrible disease that if not destroyed, will end everything. The sea holds many in a warm loving embrace, but when he falls into her, she becomes a prison. She holds him with a choking clutch, not letting him go. Just like he would to a mother, he refuses to fight back.

Every time he slips and fall into the endless darkness, feels the hopelessness of death, he feels betrayed. Betrayed by the one he loves. Then strong hands would pull him out of the darkness, into crisp, fresh air and the sea in no longer his place of execution. It is once again his home, his mother, the one he loves.

Just like Sanji will always forgive a woman, Luffy will always forgive the sea.

Review, it is not that hard, all you have to do is run fifteen laps around New York City, do a thousand pushups with twenty four rabid baboons on your back, and hit that *** **** button in the ******* middle of the page! It is right there people!
