I took my seat at the bar and waited for my friend to get back from putting in our request for kareoke. I looked around at all the guys in discust. I'd been there before. The players, the bad boys, the momma's boys, all of them, they all wanted one thing.

I looked up as my friend called me over. She was standing by the stage and told me that I was next and I had to pick my song. I looked through the binder and couldn't find anything that would even remotely deal with what I was feeling. I heard a laugh and for some reason turned my head to look at a booth in the back of the bar.

There were five of them. All nursing a bottle of beer or two. All tall, dark and handsome. All with the same russet skin. My eye's locked with the one sitting in the corner of the booth. His friends looked at him then followed his line of sight to me. I watched as they turned to him and slapped him on the back. He ducked his head, and I swear there was a blush.

I knew what I wanted. I told the D.J. The song I wanted and climbed on the stage. As the music started, my friend Wolf-Whistled and yelled, "You go, girl." Suddenly all eyes were on me. I didn't care, I locked eyes with the guys in the corner of the booth and started singing.

Are you a shy?

Were in the door, I get a smile from a fly boy
He seen me before and makes his move like a fly boy
I'm sick and tired of them fly boys
It's bye bye boy

I grabbed my friend from down below the stage and pulled her up. She laughed and I started to dance

around her. We acted out the different coruses.

I'm in a lounge, I get a wink from a bad boy
He comes around all puffed up like a bad boy
I'm sick and tired of them bad boys

I turned away from her and looked back at the booth to the guy.

[Chorus]
Cause I got my eye on this other guy
Back in the booth with his boys, he's all mellowed out
And tonight I don't mind be a shy boy
So I gotta know
Are you a shy boy?

I'm by the stage, I get a look from a rock boy
He's got the shades on indoors like a rock boy
I'm sick and tired of them rock boys
It's bye bye boy

Out on the floor, I get the moves from a home boy
Trying to score, his body rocks like a home boy
I'm sick and tired of them home boys

I laugh to myself as his friends elbow him and I watch as he leans back in the booth with his beer and

never takes his eyes off me.

[Chorus]
Cause I got my eye on this other guy
Back in the booth with his boys, he's all mellowed out
And tonight I don't mind be a shy boy
So I gotta know
Are you a shy boy?

Freak boy
Fresh boy
Slick boy
You're messing with a tom boy
Might just know you out like a school boy
Crude boy
Playboy
Cowboy
I heard it all before, boy
I'm going out to get me a shy boy

[Chorus]
Cause I got my eye on this other guy
Back in the booth with his boys, he's all mellowed out
And tonight I don't mind be a shy boy
So I gotta know

[Chorus]
Cause I got my eye on this other guy
Back in the booth with his boys, he's all mellowed out
And tonight I don't mind be a shy boy
So I gotta know
Are you a shy boy?

Shy boy
Shy boy
Shy boy
Shy boy

I stepped off the stage as my friend got up. I walked over to the bar and ordered a vodka and cranberry drink. I heard someone clear their throat and I turned around to see the guy from the corner booth. He held out his hand.

"Hi, I'm Embry Call." I smiled. Yes, I don't mind shy boys.
