NOTE: First, I don't own these characters or the Prince of Tennis (and so on). Second, this is a very light boy's love fic. The pairing being FujiXEiji (Yay for the Dream Pair!). This fic came out of no where, so I'm not that sure how good it actually is. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy it.
Kikumaru Eiji ran to the front door of his house. The knocking and ringing of the doorbell just wouldn't stop. It seemed like no one else was going to answer it, so he decided to do it himself. With his favorite blue toothbrush hanging from his mouth, he pulled open the door. To his surprise, his best friend, Fuji Syusuke stood there smiling.
"I wanted to show you something," Fuji pulled out a red cell phone from his right pocket.
"A cell phone?" Eiji questioned. He still had his toothbrush in his mouth.
"Mhm," the slightly older pulled the phone up. He flipped it open and pointed it at Eiji. Quickly, he snapped a picture. "It's a camera phone."
Eiji nodded as he took his toothbrush out of his mouth. He slid his fingers through his red-brown hair. "You're going to delete that, right?"
"Fuji! Delete it!"
"I better get going," he turned around and ran off. "See you tomorrow at school!"
"Hey!" Eiji called, but it was too late.
The next day at school, Fuji went around showing off his new cell phone and snapping pictures of everyone with it. The phone suited him well.
"Lets see all your pictures," Kawamura Takashi peered over Fuji's shoulder to see the phone.
"Sure," a sadistic smile formed on Fuji's face.
He clicked through every picture. There was one of Echizen Ryoma pulling at his cap. Another one was of Momoshiro Takeshi and Kaidoh Kaoru arguing. Finally, he stopped at the last picture; the picture of Eiji and his blue toothbrush.
Momoshiro took the phone from his upperclassman. "Look at this. Kikumaru-senpai looks so funny!"
Eiji, even though he was on the other end of the courts, heard his name and walked over to the group of laughing teens.
"What's going on?" he questioned.
"Mada mada dane," Ryoma looked away. Even he was having a hard time trying not to laugh.
"What are you guys looking at?" this time, Eiji's voice was more demanding.
Sadaharu Inui held up the cell phone the boy could see it.
"I told you to delete that picture, Fuji!" he started to become angry. "Why'd you keep it?"
Fuji walked up to the slightly shorter boy and placed his hands on his shoulders. "I think it's a cute picture."
Eiji became flustered by his friend's words. His face started to change shades. "Don't say things like that."
"But…it's the truth," smiling, Fuji pecked Eiji on the cheek. "I want to take more pictures of you and your cuteness."
"F-Fuji!" Eiji's face was completely red now. He pulled his hand up and placed it on his cheek. "You're the only on who gets to see them then."
"I'd want to keep them and you all to myself anyways."
NOTE: I wasn't going to write anything new until I was finished with my other Prince of Tennis fic, "The Fallen Prince". Today, I just haven't had the ability to write, so I needed to do something to get my brain working again.
I'm kind of happy that I finally wrote a fic for Fuji and Eiji. They're one of my favorite pairings, but I've never wrote about them together.
This fic is just completely out of no where. I don't know how I came up with it. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote it. I just wrote it, and now it is finished. I hope you like it. If you don't, that's ok.
