Price of Failure

: I don't own "Supernatural", sadly, but the boys are such a treat to play with…

A/N: My gratitude goes out to my awesome beta twinchaosblade who makes sense of my stuff, even if I don't.

A/N 2: Response to the Drabble Challenge by Enkidu07 and Onyx Moonbeam

All fellow players can be looked up on Enkidu07's profile page (the many, many names finally exceeded the drabble word count, hehe).

Prompt: Steady

Dean dangles from a rope six feet above the water and glares daggers at the two men on the riverbank. The older one draws a knife and nicks the rope coiled around a tree, holding the struggling Winchester. It isn't severed, just grazed enough so the weight on the other end will eventually tear it apart and send Dean straight into the current.

The two men share a look. "You know the drill, Sammy. Push-ups, crunches, 20 each, then try and rescue Dean. He hits the water, you loose."

"He hits the water, I'm dead," Sam mumbles.

"Ready… steady… go!"

The End

A/N 3
