Okay, so this is sickeningly fluffy, but that's pretty much the way these Parker fics go so you'll have to deal with it. ;)
And it's unbeta-d, for time's sake. So this may be a disaster. Who knows.
Title: Small Favors (The Interrogation)
Prompt: Parker/BB fluff! For ariellabellas and tendre_poison
Word Count: 292
Fingers tap against the steering wheel, small subwoofers pound out a bass beat on the stereo, and a little boy sits in the backseat of the car, clutching his backpack and the memories of the school day.
"Doctor Bones, I gotta pee."
She raises an eyebrow.
"Well, why didn't you use the restroom earlier, at school?"
"I didn't have to go then," he says exasperatedly, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Well, we're almost to your house Parker. You can wait."
More tapping; the song changes and a slower beat fills out the silence in the car, and Parker swings his legs to pass the time.
"Why are you picking me up from school today?"
"Because your dad asked me to. He's got to work late today, so I did him a favor and am taking care of you until he gets home."
They pull up to a parking space in front of the apartment, and as he awkwardly jumps out of the car, he turns to Doctor Bones and asks her another question.
"Do you love my daddy?"
Her fingers rest on the car door that she has yet to close, and she feels a little nauseated at his question.
"What?" she asks, cocking her head to the side.
"Do you love my daddy," he repeats earnestly. "I promise I won't tell him. This can be between you and me," he says as he takes her hand.
She mulls over the question in her head, thinks about it for a long while (or at least a long while in six-year-old time), and comes up with an answer as Parker has started to pull her towards the steps to the apartment.
"Yes, Parker, I think I do."
Sickeningly fluffy, no? Review anyways :3
