"Okay, so your homework is a 12 inch essay on the material you learned the past few days. Due Friday." Professor Lupin finished. The words, as he spoke them, wrote themselves on the chalkboard behind him.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione gathered their things together before exiting their DADA class. The three walked towards lunch, chatting happily. Harry had just entered the Great Hall when Ginny latched onto him, flirting unabashedly. Harry tried to get her off, but she only held on tighter.

They made their way slowly towards their table. For a second, right when Harry was about to turn to Hermione and whisper, "Help me!" the whole room went silent. The four searched the room for the cause. It was soon clear.

Draco Malfoy, robes billowing, was storming up towards the group, fire in his eyes. The Golden Trio glanced at each other knowingly. Ginny looked confused. But a second later, as she landed on the floor, she looked shocked, then angry.

"What the bloody hell, Malfoy?" She jumped up to confront him, but Draco looked rather calm, examining his nails, his weight resting on his left hip. He looked rather...flamboyant. Draco sighed, then looked at the Golden Trio.

"You haven't told her yet?" He asked, exasperated. He rolled his eyes when Hermione tried to explain.

"I'm sorry, Draco, it just hasn't come up..." She trailed off when she saw the look Ginny was giving her.

She looked at the trio, then to the silent, watching crowd. Her, and the crowd's look showed confusion (well, except for Fred and George, who had the Marauder's Map and were smirking knowingly).

Draco sighed again, and shook his head. "Listen, sweety," He started, shocking the crowd. Since when did Draco Malfoy even say a word like 'sweety'? "but Harry Potter is my property." He looked pointedly at Harry. "Right?"

The black-haired boy looked flustered. "Well, not property," He glared at Draco. "and do you have to be so mean about telling her? I mean, it's not ver--hmp!"

Malfoy, having grown bored of the little speech, had grabbed Harry's tie and pulled him in for a searing kiss. Harry, after a seconds shock, pushed him away. Now, the whole crowd was flabbergasted, but they (again, except Fred and George, who were collecting quite a sum of money at the moment) expected Harry to say something like, 'WHAT THE BLOODY HELL, MALFOY?" and attack him, but instead, Harry just glared at him and those who were close swore they could hear him hiss, "Not now, Draco!" before pushing past his friends and into the corridor.

So, smiling, Draco Malfoy took his seat, as did a rather surprised Ron and Hermione, but Ginny just stood there, still too dumbfounded to full comprehend what had just happened.

A/N: I don't hate Ginny, she's a very sweet girl and Harry makes her happy, so I'm happy too, but I don't think she has enough depth. So...this popped into my head while I was watching random H/D and D/H vids on youtube. So...voila.

Other fics will be updated when I feel like it.
