-I do not own the Teen Titans, I believe DC Comics has that privilege. I do, however, own a complete set of TT DVDs, bust paperweights, and a few comics.
-This was written toward the end of 2008...Let's just say I couldn't resist.
Politics As Usual
A Teen Titans short
Written by Corey W. Smith
Robin dropped a heavy stack of books on the table at the center of the Tower's common room, prompting his four roommates to look up from their activities with varying degrees of curiosity and confusion.
He cleared his throat dramatically, while holding up one particularly weighty volume. "All right, everyone. As I'm sure you're all aware, this is an election year. And it's our responsibility to educate ourselves, so we can carry out our civic duty in November. Now, the first thing to keep in mind--"
"Dude, we're not even old enough to vote in this state," Beast Boy interrupted him. "Who cares?"
Robin stared at him in silence for a long moment, one eye twitching slightly.
"...Are you sure?" he asked finally, in a much lower voice.
Beast Boy, Cyborg and Raven all nodded simultaneously while Starfire looked on with rapt attention.
Robin tossed the book over his shoulder and left the room in disgust.
A/N: And that, in my occasionally humble opinion, is as political as any TT story should ever get.
