"Crazy, bitch!" Dean's shoulder twitched a little. "Too, close."

"Uh-huh," Sam mumbled, aware of the blood on his hands.

"Meaning?"

"Stitches."

"How many?"

"Lots."

"Awesome."

"You almost got yourself killed."

"Didn't." Dean struggled to sit up.

"Could have." Sam gentled a hand-- stopping him.

Dean grunted; face going albino white-- eyes little more than slits.

"You going to pass out?"

"Negative."

"Puke?"

"Not yet."

"Bleed to death?"

"Only if you let up on the pressure."

Sam pressed harder.

"Ah-ha-ha!"

"Sorry."

"I know." Dean looked the other way.

"Dean?"

"I'm good."

"You double-dealing?"

"Yes." Dean shivered.

"Hold on. I'm right here."
