A/N: I love them, they are so cute together. Review please!
Kushina could never figure out how a single person could make her feel so alive.
Her heart jumped at the sight of that obnoxious blonde hair, those blue eyes, that ridiculous smile.
Did she just want to be his friend? Did she just hate him? Was it just that she couldn't stand the sight of him?
She had never felt like this before.
It had to be love.
What else could it be?
"What are you thinking about?" Minato asked, his fingers running through her red hair.
"Love," Kushina replied absentmindedly.
"And what did you conclude?" Minato grinned.
She reached over to grab his hand, which was casually hanging off of her shoulder.
"That I know nothing about it," Kushina answered, leaning against his chest comfortably.
"I'm hurt," Minato pouted.
Kushina giggled at the look on his face and closed her eyes.
"Oh come on," Minato gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm cute, right?"
She turned a little red but overall managed to keep her composure.
"Not at all Namikaze," Kushina retorted. "That's not gonna work on me."
"Stop acting tough Uzumaki," Minato said playfully "You know you love me."
"Think what you want," she shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me."
Kushina started to get up, but he gently pulled her back down.
"Let me go," she rolled her eyes. "I've got more important stuff to do than hang around with you."
"Oh come on," he groaned. "You don't have to tell me you like it, but I know you don't really want to go."
"Think what you want," Kushina repeated, managing to stand up this time.
She started to walk away, putting her hand up to wave to him.
"Bye Namikaze," she yelled, secretly smiling.
"Stop hiding that smile," Minato appeared in front of her. "It's beautiful."
"Stop scaring me like that!" Kushina glared at him, ignoring the compliment. "I'm leaving."
She marched away, feigning anger. Minato watched her with a little smirk on his face.
"I love you!" Minato called after her. "Did you hear that Uzumaki? I LOVE YOU!"
Kushina stopped abruptly, her heart racing.
"Goodbye Minato," she called back firmly, a genuine smile appearing on her face.
After she was out of sight, Minato fell back on the grass, content with the way things were going.
"I definitely love her," he whispered, a happy sigh escaping from his mouth.
