(A/N: This is crazy. I guess my explanation for this is when Nessa got crushed by the house, she somehow ended up in La Push. Yeah. We'll go with that. Enjoy!)

The small, pale girl in the wheelchair looked as out of place in the woods as the female werewolf looked like she belonged there.

Leah never saw anyone who wasn't a werewolf in the woods while she ran, and she was so surprised, she blurted out the first thing that came into her mind. "Who are you?"

"Nessarose Thropp," the girl answered politely. "And you are?"

"Leah Clearwater," Leah replied.

"Hello, Leah," Nessa said. "Would mind telling me where I am?"

"You're in the lovely town of La Push," Leah told her sarcastically.

"Oh." Nessa blinked quickly, surprised. "That makes sense, I guess. I didn't think I was anywhere in Oz."

Now it was Leah's turn to be surprised. "Oz? As in the Wizard of?" she looked around. "Okay, Jacob. Very funny joke. You can come out now."

"It's not a joke," Nessa insisted, wanting for some strange reason to prove herself to Leah. "I'm the Governor of Munchkinland."

Leah snorted in disbelief.

"It's true! My father's dead."

"I can relate."

"The boy I love loves someone else."

"Been there, done that."

"A house…was falling out of the sky…about to crush me." Nessa spoke quickly now, trying to get her story out in just a few sentences.

Leah's eyes widened, for some reason believing this girl. "You're telling me you're the Wicked Witch of the East."

Nessa rolled her eyes. That wasn't exactly her favorite nickname. "Some people call me that."

"Well, Wicked Witch of the East, you've just met the Bitter Wolf of La Push."

(A/N: I never noticed how alike Nessa and Leah are until I wrote this. Reviews are love!)
