****This is another from me. It's a what-if story. **** I don't own these amazingly passionate people….. Unfortunately. I'm just playing with them. **** Sorry the chapters are so short.

Please don't leave me

Simon held me close to his chest as we waited for dawn. A part of me knew he needed to go, that he wanted to go. The other part of me wanted, no needed him to stay here. To stay with me.

"Simon," I said breaking the silence between us. "It's not yet dawn, would you spend one more night here?" my voice shook slightly.

He looked down at me; the sadness in his eyes pierced my heart. "I have not a reason to." was his reply.

"That's not true," I argued fiercely, "You have me and me ….. I …" I could' think of a good reason to keep him with me, to convince him …. All I had was my own selfish needs, my need for him. "I need you." I finally said, there I said it, I needed him. I looked up at him begging him with my eyes not to leave me, to spend just one more night. He looked back at me with unreadable eyes.

In that moment I realized a few things, 1) not only did I need him I loved him. He couldn't leave not now, not if I had any thing to do with it. 2) I wanted to be just like him. Forever. 3) I wanted him, with a burning passion that kind of scared me.

Our moment of deep staring was cutoff by very loud, very drunk teenagers. "Zoë I'll need a place to rest for the day." he said.

I smiled my brightest smile as I crawled off his lap. Pulling him along with me I led the way back to my house. We didn't talk, we didn't need to every thing was being said by the way we touched each other. When I touched his cheek he would in return stroke mine. There was a flame always there but hardly acknowledge, now that flame openly spread in to a wild fire.

I opened the door to my house and led him right up stairs to my bedroom. "Simon I, I don't know where to begin, I want you, need you…. You've become a part of me. You're the one person who understands me." I said tying to get him to see my need.

"But I'm not a person at all." he said.

"No? Then what are you?" I asked.

"A monster." he replied instantly. I glared at him with all the anger I possessed.

"No, I refuse to believe that. You've had plenty of chances to kill me and yet here I stand. Your brother was a monster, he killed because he liked it, and you are sickened at the thought of taking a life. In fact it changed you and you found another way, that's why you ate bird right? You are no monster Simon." I said my voice was persuade and kind.

"This is how you see me?" he asked quietly.

He crossed to room to me, scooping me up in his arms and laying me on the bed. "You're the most wonderful, brave, smart, selfless, strong and beautiful person I've ever meet." he said with each word he kissed my checks and face.

"I love you." he looked down at his eyes were soft. He began to speak but I placed my finger to his lips, "I love you for who you are not what you are." he then kissed me with so much passion and desire I felt as if I would burst. I needed him now and forever………. He said once that he needed me, did he still?
