They were on opposite sides of the battlefield, and that would never change. Giroro was nothing if he wasn't a soldier, and he knew Natsumi too well to think she'd even consider betraying her fellow Pekoponians. She would always be yelling at the Keroro Platoon for their missions.
But still, lately anyway, it felt like he was the one getting yelled at less and less, and he was getting more chances to sit with her at the fire outside his tent. Maybe, despite everything, he was starting to grow closer to Natsumi.
Best of all, there were times she'd let him see her smile.
