Angel watched his wife holding Aidan, contentment on her face. She was showing their daughter the Christmas tree. Aidan watched the lights, mesmerized. He smiled.
For the first time in more than 250 years, Angel was excited about Christmas. It was their first Christmas as a family and he couldn't wait.
Slipping behind Cordy, he slid his arms around her waist, pulling her against him. She smiled. "Good morning," he whispered, kissing her neck.
Cordy turned and kissed him. "Good morning, baby," she murmured, love in her eyes.
He stood there, holding his family, feeling like the luckiest man alive.
