Don't really know what I meant by this text. It just came to me.

There was one unspoken rule between them. Never talk about feelings.

She was perfectly aware of his problems, both with his past offences and his father's behaviour. He knew she felt guilty about not noticing any signs of Scott's betrayal.

But they were both satisfied knowing that the other knows and not talking about it. There was something strangely comforting in their silence. For her it was like a peaceful feeling starting in the tips of her toes and ending at the top of her head. Or maybe it was something else. The way his eyes twinkled when he smiled, or how he raked his fingers through his hair.

How he was always calm in the strangest situations, but yet Walter was able to make him angry within a moment.

She loved to watch him, memorize the details so as to replay them later in her head, in the privacy of her bedroom.

Maybe someday, she wanted to believe, they will share their memories together.
