This was written for the UnGen Christmas challenge on Supernaturalville. The challenge was to write a letter to Santa from the POV of any SPN character. This was my first featured story on the site so I'm pretty proud of it. :) I hope you guys like it.
Spoilers if you haven't seen 5.10.
Dear Mr. Claus,
I'm unsure how this whole process works but I have been observing human traditions and asking questions of those who seem knowledgeable on the subject. I have found most adults are skeptical of your existence. You and my Father have something in common. The children, however, are extremely helpful and have assured me this is the correct way to obtain something I desire.
I'm sure by now you have realized the apocalypse is upon us. The children say you know everything, who's been good, who's been bad and even if someone's sleeping or not. That's why I need your help. I can only assume someone with that kind of power can help me find my Father. I've been searching for months now and haven't been able to find anything. I want to believe he's still out there but sometimes I find even my faith lacking.
I think you can understand the extreme importance of locating my Father. He is the only one who can stop Lucifer. I wanted so badly for the Colt to take care of the problem but I knew I was only giving the Winchesters false hope. At the time it seemed false hope was better than no hope at all. Now I feel like I have failed them. Their despondence is a stain on my soul. They have spent their entire lives saving people, sacrificing everything. I cannot stand by and watch them make this final sacrifice. Not when I know it's within my Father's power to save them. I cannot believe he would ever ask this of anyone. I refuse to believe that Zachariah is right about the Winchester's destiny.
I don't know your exact methods of operation but I am currently stationed at the residence of Robert Steven Singer in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I will wait right here.
Castiel, Angel of the Lord
