Gregory House was in a deep conversation with several other doctors when he felt himself being pulled from the after life.

"What the hell I was doing something!" House yelled at the ceiling.

"Greg," Wilson asked in amazement, eyes wide.

"James," House said reaching out to touch the mans cheek, brushing a lock of hair out of his face.

"I'm apparently needed here, and I'm solid maybe they decided I was too awesome to not be here."

"Do you get to stay?" Wilson asked hopefully.

"I don't know, why aren't you having lunch with Amber?" House asked noticing what time it was.

"We broke up, just a few days ago. She said she couldn't be with me after what you had done for her and knowing that you had been in love with me."

"She's working for Forman isn't she?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Because she needs to know that I didn't do it for her." House said storming out of Wilson's office.

Everyone stared wide eyed as the late Doctor Gregory House walked through the hospital.

"I didn't do it for you damn it, I did it for him," House yelled when he came to stand in front of the blonde woman.

"Do you guys see him too or am I insane?" Amber asked looking back at her colleges.

"We see him," Forman agreed.

"Okay, so what are you going on about House?"

"You weren't supposed to dump him that's the whole reason I died!"

"I can't date him knowing the man that died in my place loved him!"

"So I've been dead for god know how long for nothing?"

"You've been dead for a week, you didn't know that?" Thirteen asked confused.

"There's no need for time in the afterlife, no deadlines or anything like that," House said rolling his eyes in exasperation.

"So are you staying," Amber asked impatiently.

"I don't know, hey Damien!" House yelled.

"What is it, I'm busy House?" Damien, or date, asked glaring as he appeared in the room in the middle of everyone.

"Am I staying?" House asked unfazed.

"It was not time for you to die, when you go only time shall know." Damien recited calmly.

"So I'm staying then," House said as Damien disappeared from the room.

"For how long?" Wilson asked confused.

"A while, was promoted from dead to alive."

"What the hell is going on here," Cuddy demanded storming into the room. She froze as she saw House.

"Yes he really is here, and he's alive." Wilson said calmly.

"How is that possible," Cuddy asked.

"They decided I was too awesome for the after life, so I'm back to stay." House said evenly.
