Naruto and Sasuke stood together before the Sage of the Six Paths, having just accepted his legacy after learning that the both of them were the reincarnations of his sons Asura and Indra; Sasuke being the reincarnation of Indra who'd sought power, and Naruto the reincarnation of Asura who sought peace, love, and cooperation. With this in mind, the constant fighting between them and Naruto's constant insistence that they were "friends" despite the number of times Sasuke had hurt him and tried to kill him made a sick sort of sense.
As Naruto and Sasuke turned back towards the Living World in order to defeat Madara and prevent the Infinite Tsukuyomi from being activated and causing the end of the world, Sasuke smugly said "See, I was right."
"Right about what?" Naruto asked curiously.
"The Fourth Hokage isn't your father." Sasuke said before pointing back towards the Sage of the Six Paths. "He is."
Naruto just buried his face in his hands and groaned. His brother was stubborn as hell in any incarnation, and would rather kill himself than admit he was wrong.
